I have lloked around website which says that it can be done but am unable to find info for instructions

Lain,

This can be achieved by the following setup;

Flat rate for 1 year

*Create a subscription then select time limit (1 year).
-You can assign a vendor role if you want user to become a vendor after subscription.
-You might want to add a restriction as well "vendor area restriction" so that when their subscription expires, they cannot access the vendor area.

With commission on every sale

*Follow this article but only create 1 subscription and 1 program (if you dont charge commission for flat rate user).

HI
Sorry, Overlooked this one
OK, I have set up subscriptions with a time limit, This seems to work great
But
My next query is 'restrictions'
In subscriptions there was a dropdown to let me choose what the subcription limits are - 1 + year
In rectrictions I would like to restrict No of items published
Where in restrictions does one set the 'Limit' to say 50
These are my current settings

I have read a number of articles relating to this and this is the one that I think applis to this query - http://www.joobi.co/wiki/catalog/restrict_item_creation-item-415.html?catid=135
Even though it states
Data

Max Items: Define the maximum number of items that a vendor can create. The default value is 0 mean unlimited.
It does not explain clearly where to add the limit amount
I presume it refers to the credit area but as this is the first time of setting this up it is not clear to someone not famliar with this.

Hi Norfolkandway,

The limit represent the number of items. So if you want to allow only 10 items, you have to add 10.

Thank you for your reply
Confusion for me is that I do not have 'Max Items' in my restriction - This is due to choosing 'Publish Item'
I only have 'Values'
https://nimbus.everhelper.me/client/notes/share/290876/U9BZfF2C2i3Kc3P37sHaKJa4VnNoE1Vo/
Will this still work the same? example - If I enter 25 in 'values' will this restrict vendor to only publish 25 items at one time?

I already have a restriction for create items (This was simple to create as Max items was displayed
The subscription is meant to be -
1 - Create x 50
2 - Publish x 25
So that Vendor can create 50 items but only have 25 of them published at once.
Regards
Iain
