I have a client who wants to start a multivendor store in wordpress. Do you have any future plans to support wordpress for Joobi products?

im a happy joobi customer. I really like your products, the idea of seamless integration and well design plus secure framework. perfect for me!

a support for wordpress would be a star!!!:) :) :) :p

Vaneesa,

Do you have a rough estimate how long it would take to convert joobi components to wordpress?

I am about to migrate one of my client old site using another shopping cart to jstore. I tried to asked them if they have plan to do wordpress integration. And the answer is no and impossible as they need to write it again from scratch.

Are you on the same boat? Do I need to wait 1 - 2 years to get a working wordpress version of joobi software?

Joomla is great but my clients preferred to use wordpress. We have everything in wordpress except our shopping cart sites. And i think you do good in wordpress too. No one out there with the same services as you have.

Hi Xin,

Thank you for your interest.

For wordpress support we do not need to write the code again to do an integration for any cms. We have this request in our todo list and it should be ready anytime soon.

We have not look into this yet due to other development priorities. The integration should take us approximately 1 month or less.

You reply quick.. ;)

It's decided but i believe we are going to create a wordpress admin theme to make it look more a wordpress plugin.
And then for sef and other features, it's going to use the wordpress one like a native wordpress plugin.

It is the same exact package with our Joomla products but it will render differently base on the platform. And for releases, new features, etc...both platform will get it at the same time. Actually we do not need to develop twice.. we just package an installable version for Joomla or wordpress.

I just want to clarify to avoid misunderstanding. There is no changes for our Joomla users and we will continue working for Joomla. The only difference -we'll have a new users from wordpress. ;)

Business wise, Wordpress is way to go.
As a web agency, 90% of our customers request are always a Wordpress site plus a shop. Every time we offer them to use Joomla, they all complain about being difficult to understand.
So it's been 2 years or so we've been playing between woocommerce and wpecommerce base on our customers requirements.
I will be the happiest man if you guys releasse your jStore or jMarket in WP. That is a killer products and the cost to build is very affordable. Happy clients, happy me. ;)
