Hello,

This is the temporary fix for users who cannot install the new jCenter.

Make sure your site meets minimum requirements.

http://www.joobi.co/why-use-jcenter.html

HOW to install

1. Make sure you have a clean and no broken previous install.

Run this query to delete all Joobi broken install.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/mf9401wumryvs9b/delete%20all%20joobi%20tables_NEW.txt

2. Make sure the db table #_assests does not contain any Joobinstaller or jCenter data

2. The make sure to delete the Joobi folder as well in your FTP

**root/Joobi

**root/admin/components/com_joobiinstaller

**root/components/com_joobiinstaller

**root/tmp (clear the tmp folder) Do not delete the index.html file

**root/cache (clear the tmp folder) Do not delete the index.html file

3. Download this jCenter (this is the older jCenter)

https://www.dropbox.com/s/f11iiheyexuiuen/jCenter.2.13.zip

4. Install it

5. Do not install extensions yet. You will see new version of jCenter.

Current version:2.13.0
Latest version:2.15.2

6. Update your jCenter to 2.15.2

7. Go to preferences of jCenter >> Advance Tab

**Under Updates section, you should see "Distribution server to d3" (see screenshot d3-server.png)

**Change the server to d4 and click Save or Done. (attached screenshot d4-server.png)

Note: Distribution server d4 is the start of the Responsive theme so the look of the admin and frontend will change.

8. Go back to jCenter >> Apps >> click "Check" button to see new versions and then update again.

9. After updating, you need to change the distribution server to the latest stable server where we are currently using which is d5.

attached screenshot (d5-server.png)

10. Repeat step 8 after doing step 9. Then you should be all good and using the latest jCenter version.

11. You can now install any Joobi extensions

P.S

If you reproduce an error during the update process... Just click the "RESET" button located in the update page. And try to update again.

When doing the step 7 an Error happened:

7. Go to jCenter >> Apps >> click "Check" button and then update again.

A fatal error occured during the install process. Contact the support with the message below:

Fatal error: Call to a member function nameQuote() on a non-object in C:\xampp\htdocs\community2\joobi\node\library\class\table.php on line 1992

Also one doubt:
-You say "Update again" in step 8, however until step 7 there is no "update" instruction. So, what is that "again" meaning?

If there is an error, just click 'reset" button and do the update again.

Step 7 - You need to be on d4 server to get new versions.

step 8 - after doing the update of step 7, you need to change the distrib server to d5. to go to the latest stable server.

This is the last step and you should get all the latest version.
