Joomla 3.6.4 Security Release

Joomla 3.6.4 is now available. This is a security release mainly addresses three critical security vulnerabilities and a bug fix for two-factor authentication. Joomla versions 3.4.4 through 3.6.3 are affected by three security issues: Account Creation, Elevated Privileges and Account Modifications. In addition to the security issues above, Joomla 3.6.4 includes a bug fix for two-factor authentication found in Joomla core. We strongly encourage you to update your sites immediately. All Joobi Applications are compatibile with Joomla 3.6.4.

Broken site after installing Joomla extension: How to fix White page

White page is one of those extremely annoying problems because in most cases there is no error output and left you clueless to figure out what is the issue.
This could be caused by exhausted memory or another extension that you may be using that is not functioning properly. It could also be caused by poorly coded and untested extension. It could also mean that there is an issue with your web hosting server.

The issue can be caused by any number of things and it may require you a lot of troubleshooting. Don't panic! It’s easy to fix.

The most common jCenter installation problems

When an installation is not successfully completed, it is usually because of one of the following reasons:

  • Your website does not meet the minimum requirements for jCenter installation.
  • Another security extension blocked the installation of jCenter.
  • Your server firewall blocked the IP of the Joobi server. (Search in google for "joobi server ip" and you find the right IP.)
  • Joomla FTP layer is enabled in your Joomla global configuration >> Server Tab. Try to disable before the installation of jCenter.
  • Enabled Gzip Page Compression in the Joomla global configuration >> Server Tab. Try to disable before the installation of jCenter.
